PhD Position in Wireless, Mobile, and Sensor Networking 
 
 
 

Grenoble Institute of Technology and LIG Laboratory invite applications for a PhD position (36 months) in Wireless, Mobile, and Sensor Networking.

The project aims at designing and developing a ubiquitous data collection and dissemination service for the Internet of Things and Smart Cities. Mobile users and sensor devices will be able to send messages to the nearest wireless network at hand that will forward them in a multihop way to the destination by the elements of the infrastructure network. The project will involve the Drakkar research group.

Applicants should have experience/knowledge in the following research areas:

  • Network protocols
  • Wireless networks, especially 802.11, 802.15.4
  • Good programming skills
